I cannot rate Mike highly enough! He recently completed work for me when I found out I had illegal diy plumbing work throughout my newly purchased home. He gave me peace of mind and was extremely responsive and contactable to address my concerns over the phone in the lead up to the repairs. On the day of the job he was prompt, efficient, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in top working order- not to mention he was an excellent problem solver when finding the water mains to my house proved more challenging than we had expected! I could not be more happy with the result (it feels like a new house with proper pipes!) and it didn’t break the bank like I had dreaded it would! Mike assisted us in our renovation of our kitchen and laundry. This included redirecting gas pipes, cutting additional waste drains, knocking down a brick wall disconnection and reconnection of all old and new pipes, tap ware as well as a new cook top. Mikes knowledge and expertise on all aspects of plumbing were outstanding. Mike went above and beyond to assist me in areas I was unsure of and lent a hand when he didn’t have too. Yes, I paid him for his time but his advice and let’s get it done attitude was priceless. Mike is a trust worthy, dependable plumber who always cleaned up after himself and was well priced for what was required. What a legend!! Mike saved the day for us big time. Our hot water system died over the Christmas/New Year season and Mike was so helpful, quoting us right away and fitting us in as quickly as he could. He has been so thorough and professional throughout the whole process, ensuring we are 100% comfortable and happy with his service. I had Mike from Coast Runner Plumbing & Gas who come in to fix up an issue of a leak in the backyard of my house. It had an overflow in my outdoor down pipe leading to the underground drainage. He came in the first instance & quickly diagnosed the issue. He then advised me the next task to be performed & quoted me an estimate of the charges. He came in again with all the gear required, ready @ 7:00 Am on a Saturday morning as promised and fixed up the issue by putting in soak wells as discussed with him earlier. The job that he performed was truly awesome & he was thorough professional in the way he did the job. Since that first job Mike performed, he is the only person coming to my house to fix up any leaks or other issues with the water systems at home… I would highly recommend his services to everybody who wants to use his services. I came across Mike's business on a Facebook ad after contacting several other big/small plumbing companies for quotes on a few jobs to be done around the house including the installation of an under bench water filter, gas cooktop, and to investigate the cause of water hammer in the ceiling. I was extremely pleased that Mike was able to identify the cause of the water hammer straight away, whereas other plumbers had suggested a "trial and elimination" approach in their quotes which was likely to be a costly exercise. Mike's experience, and workmanship is excellent. I was impressed and extremely appreciative of Mike's respect towards my house, taking extra care to not scratch/damage my stone benchtops, cleaning up thoroughly after he'd finished, and ensuring that no leaks became present before he left. A couple days ago, we were made aware of a leak in our pipes. After contacting many businesses, we were only told that we had a "leak" and was told nothing else, this we already knew. After being charged a ridiculous quote for further assessment into the location of our leak we knew this wasn't right. After continuously searching through Facebook, we came across this company and texted, Mike quickly informed us the next morning that he would come and assess our situation. With a temperature sensor, he immediately noticed a spike in temperature and informed us within two minutes the location of our leak. He dug up the pipe and repaired it speedily with no complications. Mike was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional in his work and we greatly appreciate his work which saved us alot of money. We highly recommend this business for anyone who is seeking an honest, reliable and well priced plumbing service. ~ Lachy H

Mike is a very experienced tradesman. He knows his plumbing trade thoroughly and is not fazed with what confronts him. He did his homework and prepared all his tools required for the job in his well equipped van. He explained the approach he was going to take with our issue and the back up plans if that was not possible. Anyway, he succeeded in solving our problem immediately and was packed up and cleaned his workspace within an hour. Thanks Mike. The only drawback was that he barracks for Carlton. We asked Mike to come and quote our job which he did on the same day. Having one bathroom we were keen to have the job completed quickly and although he was busy he started the job straight away ordering the parts we wanted taking away the stress of us going to the shops at this busy time of the year. It was good to have a plumber who knew what he was talking about, was able to get the job done quickly and professionally for a fair price. Mike answered my call - on the hop and thats the Brilliant service we received of him from the get go. We initially needed our Toilet Cistern fixed & dripping taps around the house. Our 2nd Bathroom shower tap (leaking) proved a head ache with Mike returning a second visit to find a hairline fracture, which he fixed - Awesome. Mike is an absolute legend. His level of professionalism, integrity, expertise, and top-notch customer service is a true rarity. He's extremely fair with pricing too. He's done a lot of work at my place, but most recently he fixed up a burst hot water main. I rang him in a panic at 530pm and he walked me through what I needed to do to manage the situation immediately and then was out at my place at 730am the next morning (he's a VERY busy man but goes out of his way to help you out) I can't be more grateful to have found him and can't rate him higher!! I found this business with "Google search" and gave them a call which was answered by Mike, I described the problem being a major leak in the main water supply line to the house. This being a Sunday late afternoon Mike said that he could be out first thing next morning to which I agreed. Mike arrived early the next morning he had a very friendly manner and good communicator, he carried out the repair in a very professional manner and rather quickly also fairly reasonable cost. Mike completed all the plumbing requirements for a full bathroom ensuite renovation including the removal of existing fittings, preparation of in wall fittings, installation of external reflux valve and associated piping, and installation of vanity, shower fittings and bath. Mike identified an issue with the potential for sewerage overflow and provided a solution. He arrives at agreed times, completes his work in a professional manner an is meticulous in the finish he achieves. We got Mike out to install a new hot water system, install a new cooktop, and disconnect a 30 year old solar storage. He came out especially on a Sunday to quote and scheduled in a time to do the job where he arrived on time and worked efficiently throughout the day to get everything done. We had major issues with old clay pipes, as well as a nightmare plumbing setup in a renovated bathroom that had been left by the previous owners.
